I’ll let you guys in on a secret. The past few months have been tough. School has been draining all my energy, I’m overworked and somehow sleep-deprived and yet I don’t think I’m learning anything at all. Classes aren’t even interesting anymore. Even after a year of online class, this all still feels like a huge-ass joke. I’ve been so toxic lately and it has gotten to the point where I almost always complain about how shitty this situation is and how tiring it is already. I’m even doubting whether this will all be worth it in the end because to be honest, I’m completely burnt out. And even lost. Our doctors expect we study 24/7 as if we’re robots and that’s not even the worst part! The worst part is having to study 100+ pages for a 50 item long exam just for a single subject in maybe a span of 2 weeks. Not to mention the list of requirements we have to pass. I remember one doctor said to us that they’ve specially made the schedule as it is so that students practice discipline and “wake up at 6am and start studying”. Imagine my reaction! Oh well, I guess that’s how medical schools are ever since… Anyway, gotta go back to studying… Maybe.
